Window Art

I have written about Crayola Window Crayons several times, and not once have I been compensated for declaring our love for them.

That is okay by me though because we think they are fantastic!  I think we are on our fourth set, and we will have to buy a new set soon.

It rained all day yesterday, and while we spent a lot of time being lazy, C and R also spent a good amount of time creating art on our sliding glass doors with the window crayons.  They never grow tired of this!

We haven't tried them, yet - maybe one of these days.

I love window crayons EXCEPT our sliding glass doors have a wood frame, very pretty, but the window crayons stain it! So we don't use them much. They will be more fun once the kids are old enough to stay away from the frames. And maybe I should let them draw on the front window...

Wasn't that rain crazy yesterday? My cousin is visiting, and she couldn't believe that it NEVER stopped!

Their art is so cute. When I first tried to tell Papa about these, he was totally against them. He is warming up to the idea, maybe this year we can talk him into letting us do window art.

Isn't it Elmer I see in the picture that R is drawing? I still think my husband will have a heart attack if he sees them used on an actual window. We do use ours on the photoframes or tinfoil - the results are very pretty.

what is this rain of which you speak? I've got some window markers I need to try out on our windows. Just need to figure out a way to do it without freaking out Jeff......

I found that it was hard to remove all of the residue and it left a cloudy look to the window. Obviously, it just lots of cleanings but it did come off.

I like the idea someone mentioned about using them on foil!
