S'mores on a Stick - Back To School Party

According to C, this didn't really qualify as a party because we didn't have presents, but it was a celebration and we made treats, so that deserves the title "party" in my book.

To celebrate our last day of summer vacation, we made s'mores on a stick.

First, we put marshmallows on colorful cocktail stirrers (we love to use these for anything on a stick; you can find them in the beverage aisle or sometimes the party goods aisle).

Yes, he has a marshmallow in his cheek!

Then, we dipped the marshmallows in melted chocolate.

Next, we rolled the chocolate covered marshmallows in crushed graham crackers.

Finally, we ate!

C and R decided it was time for a competition to see who could build something interesting using s'mores ingredients.

They were both winners - you can't lose with marshmallows, chocolate, and graham crackers!

Oh, and for those wondering, R has recently decided that she does indeed like marshmallows!

Party worthy, right?

First of all, love the retro graham cracker box. Is it that old or did they come out with that box again? LOLOL!

That looks like a fun and yummy snack!

Oh, those look really good. Too funny about the no presents no party! We call everything a party around here.

Sooooooooooo wish I had this idea before today! We made S'mores as part of our "Camping Theme." Let me just say that poor little Smiley B (the 2 year old I watch) was a bit intimidated by all that stickiness...

I think S'mores on a stick would have been much more convenient for him! :0)

If there is chocolate it's a party :-). S'mores on a stick are so fun and so not messy too!

Cute pictures of the kids!
