I love the excitement of Christmas morning. It's so much fun to see how excited the kids get.
The favorite gifts this year are:
C and R each got a Nintendo DSi; C got black and R got pink.
T got an ipod Touch and Xbox Live. He is very happy!
K got this Bright Starts Around We Go toy. She should be ready to try it out in a few weeks!
After opening gifts, we got the house and ourselves ready for family and friends. We had a pretty big group of people and everything went well. I am very thankful for all of the help - Grandma spent a lot of time helping us prepare for this day (she did most of the cooking) and everyone brought food. All four kids were very well behaved and had a wonderful day!
L was born three days before K. I think they are third cousins - the dads are first cousins, so that makes the babies third cousins, right? Whatever, they are cousins. |
I love this picture of all four kids with their great grandparents.
It was a wonderful Christmas!

What a great day!
That's a good point about the cousins. I'm thinking they are 2nd cousins, but now I'm not sure. LOL! We just all go by "cousin".
It looks like everyone had a great Christmas!
This is what I get for asking how things went before reading your blog, you already answered it :)
Looks like a wonderfully fun day and dinner. I want to come!
That toy K got looks like so much fun, I bet she's going to love it.
They are second cousins. The child of your cousin is your first cousin once removed, and your child is a second cousin to your cousin's child - not like it's confusing, or anything :) Glad to hear the party went well! It looks like it was a beautiful day.
Merry Christmas Christy!
Everything looks perfect!!!!
Your look fantastic!
We had a houseful (19 total) too...and also had lots of help with the food. What a special day...and love the pic with the grandparents!
Oh, I LOVE all of these pictures, Christy. You got some really good ones of family together. The food looks so good!!!! That is a great picture of you and the kids. You look so good. And, look at the biggest T in a picture on your blog--YAY :-)!! R and K look so pretty in their dresses. Are those Hanna Andersson? I think my Hanna has a purple one like that.
Christmas comes and goes so fast. I like to watch the kids excitement too. You look like you truly did have a wonderful Christmas Day.
