Our puppy finally noticed the butterflies. They were very active and she was not happy about all of that chaos. I knew then that it was time to set the butterflies free.
Here are a few photos of our butterflies right before we released them.
C enjoyed looking at them through his magnifying glass.
They really seemed to enjoy the orange slices we provided for them.
I am so happy we did this and plan on doing it once a year.

are soo pretty! Drake would go bonkers if he saw them too! :) btw he is doing much better must have been a bad month !:)
we've done butterflies, and tadpoles this next spring/summer we are do ing a baby walking stick or praying mantis and baby ladybugs!
That is so cool. We will have to do this!
How beautiful!! We did this last year with a blue swallowtail and it was so much fun! Emily still talks about it!

I am glad that your project was so successful. I think we'll try it too when Anna is 4+ - this looks so much fun.
