C and R created paper mosaics this week for open ended art. C enjoyed cutting the paper himself, but I did a lot (most) of the cutting for R.
I provided them with paper and let them create whatever they wanted, so they may not be true mosaics but that is okay with me. It's the process that matters.
This is C's art:

These look so good. C looks like he is enjoying making his. I like the colors R chose, so girly:-).
Glad they had fun doing this one!
They did a great job!!
I love the all pink, hee hee. And they both did a great job! Fun is what it's all about!
great mosaic art! I love the purple and pink one that would have been made in our house for sure!
I like C's color selection too my oldest would have picked some of those!
My son really wants to learn to use the scissors, so I've been trying to let him, but I'm not sure if he has the hand muscles to open and close them (he wants to do it two handed). Do you know how old they were when they started?
Both of them are beautiful :)
I completely agree its the the process that matters. Plus to their little minds its IS something. :)
Great project! I think were gonna do that
R clearly opted for monochromatic look :) I liked how their projects turned out!
