Tag
C is currently in love with Leap Frog's Tag Reading System. I am impressed with it myself. He loves using the pen to read each word, and he enjoys playing the games too.
I was concerned that the pen might be difficult to use or that he would get frustrated with it, but that has not been the case at all. He can use it himself and he loves it! Hooray! I love learning tools that are also fun toys.

I've wondered about this for a couple years now.
Joe has the Leapster, but this has always appealed to me too.
Just might have to get it!
I heard many rave reviews about Tag systems. Not something that I would buy myself, but it seems that boys especially love it.
I'll have to check it out for Gidget! thanks for posting he likes it i was not sure how the pen would work or hold up either
I have heard great things about Tag too. I have thought many times about getting it. I am always scared though that my guy wouldn't use it. His birthday is in April so maybe then.
We love ours here as well. Interestingly enough it's my girl who uses it most.
Oh, I was so glad to see you posted about this. I've been thinking of getting one for Emily for awhile now, but she can read fairly well... Is it meant mainly for pre-readers?
My preschooler got this for Christmas & loves it! I love how it can be an independent activity! :)
we got one for christmas too! the pea loves it! he carries that thing around with him all the time and was so sad to discover that it doesn't work with every book!
My son got one for Christmas and he loves it. He asked for it, but I wasn't really sure that he would play with it, but he does all the time. He is not quite 4 years old, but has already figured out how to do play most of the games.
I have one on the way for my son and I really hope he likes it. He loves to read but i hope that he is able to use the pen. I could have got him tag junior but he is on the upper age limit for tag junior and the normal tag books seemed better :)
