St. Patrick's Day mobile

C and R really want to catch a leprechaun this year. This is the first of many decorations we have planned for St. Patrick's Day and our quest for the pot of gold!

These came out so cute. This is how we made them:
1. Cut a paper plate in half and have your LO decorate the half like a rainbow.
2. Cut out a shamrock shape from green construction paper and a pot shape from black construction paper.
3. Have your LO put glue on the shamrock and decorate the shamrock with green glitter.
4. Your LO can glue yellow pom poms to the top of the pot. (Warning: the pom poms do make this side heavier than the other so you may want to glue green pom poms to the shamrock - I didn't think of this before we made ours).
5. Punch one hole on the bottom of each side of the rainbow and attach the pot and shamrock with green ribbon.
6. Punch one hole at the top of the rainbow and attach another piece of green ribbon.
7. Hang up your mobile and hope to catch a leprechaun!

I love the simple paper plate rainbow idea!
