Snowman Soup

A few special friends and neighbors will be receiving snowman soup from C and R this week.  If you haven't heard of snowman soup, this is how you make it:

Fill a treat bag with
  • one packet of hot cocoa mix
  • a few mini marshmallows
  • a few Hershey Kisses
  • one candy cane
Attach a snowman soup label to each bag.  There are plenty of free printable labels on the internet (google snowman soup labels) and I found no need to reinvent the wheel so I printed labels from Country Heart Designs.  The labels I used say, "When it's so cold that you holler and whoop, it is time to bring out the snowman soup!  Pour the packet in a mug, add the snowballs too.  Throw in the kisses from the snowman to you.  Now add some hot water, use the cane to stir it.  Sip slowly and soon you'll feel the warm winter spirit!"

Now I know - Anna got one last year from one of her classmates, but the wording was different. Thanks for sharing the recipe and the link!

That's cute - it would go well with Sneezy the Snowman, too.
