A Favorite Tradition

A few years ago, we began a new tradition. Every year we buy photo frame ornaments with the year on them and put a photo of each child and our dog in the frames. I love looking at the photos of them over the years as we decorate the tree. Eventually, our tree will be covered with the smiling faces of our children. This is by far one of my favorite traditions!

The frames in this photo are from Exposures Catalog.

This is very special. We do new homemade ornaments each year that sometimes include a photo, but not necessarily. This would be a wonderful tradition to begin here. Thank you so much for this idea. I know you must truly treasure these ornaments and pictures!

Great idea! That would be so cute to have a tree dedicated to just the pics of the kids! How fun!

Nice tradition. I am going to make one each year for Anna - it will be so much fun to look at about 16 years from now :)

What a fun tradition! I was also going to ask where you find the frames, but I see you've answered that already... thanks!!!
