Paper Bag Gingerbread Houses

I gave C and R paper lunch bags and stickers for them to create their own gingerbread houses.  They also used markers to draw doors and windows.  Once they were done decorating, we stuffed them with crumpled newspaper and added folded construction paper roofs and paper bag chimneys.

C's house is on the left and R's is on the right.

What fun houses. The perfect type of Christmas craft, no real mess :).

Not that I do that many of those here.

GREAT idea!! They turned out really cute. I may do this for Sassyfras and Juiciness when we decorate our real house.

Also, we don't have a copy of Snowmen at Christmas, but if I can get it from the library soon, I'd love to read it with the kids. They are big fans of Snowmen at Night! I'm assuming you've read it...is it just as fun?

These are adorable! I wish I had Christmas stickers. I can't believe I don't, now that I think about it. Someone needs to hit the dollar store.
