R is having her front tooth extracted this morning. If you are fairly new here, you can read this post to find out why. So far, the most difficult part is that she cannot eat breakfast.
Update: R did great this morning. The oral surgeon and his assistants were impressed beyond belief because she was so cooperative and only required a local anesthetic for the extraction. The whole process took less than ten minutes. R is happily feasting on popsicles and looking forward to a visit from the Tooth Fairy! Thank you for your comments, thoughts, and prayers.

Oh, poor thing. I've been wondering how that tooth was doing. Is she excited? Do you do tooth fairy? Gerrick hasn't lost any teeth yet, but he's already informed us that he does not want the fairy to take his teeth because he wants them for his science center! ;)
I am sorry! It stinks that she will have to spend a few years without her front tooth. I hope extraction goes well.
She's a gorgeous girl and will remain so with or without the tooth. I'll be praying for your little one as she goes through the procedure.
aww poor little girl? how is she doing? do you do the tooth fairy? my youngest can't wait for a real fairy to visit her she tells everyone:)
hope all is well!
the toothless pics are soo cute
What a champ she is! Being toothless for a few years will be hard but she'll probably be the first one in her class (down the road) to have had a visit from the tooth fairy!
Glad it went well! We had several teeth removed on my oldest (also a girl) last year, but hers were because she had no room for them in her teeny-tiny mouth:-).
Hope the healing process goes as smoothly and quickly as the extraction did!
poor thing. I am glad she did well.
