Reagan's First Grade Poets Picnic

The first grade Poets Picnic was held this morning.  Before school, I managed to take a few pictures of Reagan in her dress.  It was cold and damp, but I was able to get a few pictures in between rain showers.

There is no such thing as a Reagan photo shoot without a few silly shots.

She was so excited for her performance this morning; she was dressed and ready to leave ninety minutes early.

Mrs. Sabra, the principal, addressing the audience before the performance.  See Reagan up top on the left?  You can't miss that arrow.

The first song was Calendar Girl, and Reagan held the January sign.

Maybe you can't tell from this picture, but Reagan was moving quickly and doing her best to avoid eye contact with us.  She is too funny.

After that performance, the girls and boys sang a few songs about the seasons and then we went to the cafeteria to spend some time reading Reagan's poems.

Reagan with her teacher, Mrs. Machado.  Reagan had a great time in her class this year; we will miss her.

Reagan with some of her first grade friends:

Mia, Alex (has been in Reagan's class since the 3 year program), Lily, Reagan, and Carson

Reagan, Karlie, Isabelle, and I have no idea who the other two children are

Reagan and Miranda

Adyn, Reagan, and Carson

Nice job, Reagan!  Thank you for sharing your poems and songs with us!  We love you!

A poets picnic has such an enchanted ring to it. Fun! And, what a beautiful photo shoot at the beginning :)

I can't believe the first grade is over for our girls. Reagan looks adorable. I like the idea of Poets Picnic - your school certainly does more in arts than ours.
