Children's Museum of Greater Fall River

Today I took Katelyn, Reagan, and Reagan's friend Allie to the Children's Museum of Greater Fall River.  It is fairly new and this is the first time we have been there.  I was impressed!  There are eight different rooms in the museum, and each room has a different theme:  music, color, dinosaurs, spinning, water, Lego, construction, and one that I can't remember.

Reagan is definitely on the top of the age range for this place, but she had fun.  Katelyn LOVED everything in the museum, especially the dinosaur digging area and the water room.

The spinning circles in the above picture were in the spinning room.  The girls used the chalk to make them spin, and this resulted in cool chalk art on the surface of the circles.  I've never seen anything like that before, but the girls really liked it.
The rock climbing wall is in the dinosaur room.  I think the dinosaur room is my favorite; it has a fun cave crawl through area, the climbing wall, the fossil digging area pictured above, a huge magnetic board, and a lot of toy dinosaurs.

The music room is very nice too!  There are a lot of different instruments, including a laundry rack with pots and pans and spoons, etc. (hanging from the rack) to be played like instruments.  The girls are on the stage in the above picture and they could watch themselves on television as they performed - super cool!

Overall, it was a fun place and I think Kate and I will become regulars when the big kids are in school!

Wow, I think Anna would still have fun in it too. It's nice to have a museum like this nearby!
