Five Pennies

R brought home this assignment that she completed in school and it's one of those things that I want to remember.

She had to write what she would buy if she had five pennies.  Her response (with spelling corrected):  I want a phone and an iPad and a pet and a book and a puppet and a cookie and a fish.

If only five cents could stretch that far.......

... and then I want some change back. At least R didn't stop writing until she poured all her wishes on paper. I asked Anna just now and she said that there is nothing that she could buy for just 5 pennies. She is learning fast :)

What a treasure to keep. You should find a way of preserving that with a nickle attached.

I agree with everyone else, oh to get those for 5 pennies. But then can you imagine what our paychecks would look like?
