Baby Names

I know you are reading this post thinking that I am going to share our baby names with you.  Sorry to mislead you with the post title, but I don't plan on sharing our name choices anytime soon.  As a matter of fact, we haven't made any definitive decisions about names yet.  I will tell you that my ultrasound is scheduled for tomorrow morning and we do plan to find out the gender, and I will share that information with you when I have it.

So, the reason for the title of this post is to share R's baby name choices.  R loves television.  If we let her, she would watch it for hours and never move from the couch.  C, on the other hand, could really care less about the television.  He likes to watch, but he rarely asks for it.  I am rambling again.  Anyway, R's baby name choices are from two of her favorite television shows.

For a girl, she has chosen Keiko (from Little Bill) or Rosie (that would be Caillou's sister), and for a boy she has chosen Andrew (also from Little Bill).  We will not be using any of these names.  I told R that she should save them for when she has her own children someday.

It's little things like this that I don't want to forget, so that is why I am posting this!

Aw that is very cute! I still remember when I was little I wanted to name my children Samantha and Elizabeth but as I grew I changed my mind.

Have fun at the ultrasound, that's very exciting!

My daughter was only two when I had my ultrasound. We showed her the picture after the appointment and asked what she thought we should call the baby. She said, "Happy" because the baby in the picture looked happy.

Too funny! I don't mind the name Andrew... When I was in college, I wanted to name my future daughter Emmali! Speaking of Caillou, my son asked me just last night why Daddy shaves his head. I told him he likes it like that and has done it since he was really little. He said, Oh, like Caillou doesn't have any hair! Too funny!

When I was in college, I wanted to have a girl and name her Emmali. (Yeah, apparently I learned nothing from having an unusually spelled name!)
We were talking about Caillou (and his lack of hair) just last night!

Very sweet! Anna keeps talking about her baby brother Sam, and Lars keeps telling her that this is SO not happening.

How sweet! I had a list of baby names as a kid, and so far we haven't used any of them!

Very excited to hear whether you're having a boy or a girl!

So cute and sweet. I remember my daughter renamed our son when he was born. We named him TJ and she decided it had to be Teej.
