Christmas Treats

Year after year, the reindeer sandwich is a big hit in our house.

The kids also love to help me make pretzel treats.

This year we found holiday shaped pretzels at Target!

C and R unwrapped all of the Rolo candies and placed them on top of the pretzels on a baking sheet.

I put them in the oven at 350 degrees for about 3 minutes.  When they came out, we quickly topped them with red and green candies.

They didn't last long!

Yummy! I've never had them with Rolo's, just Hershey's Kisses.

I need to make those again, because I agree pretzels and rolos are DELICIOUS, and never last long.....

That's a great choice to have the kids help with!

We saw this treat on the cookie party last Friday - thanks for explaining how it was done :)

What fun treats! We're decorating gingerbread houses today, and that's probably all the Christmas treats my kids are getting... Maybe I'll do better next year!

I need to make our reindeer sandwiches too. They've been asked about for days :-).

Those are some cool pretzels! We make these each year too. I'm going to see if we have those in our Target.
