Happy Birthday C!

C woke up this morning, opened a few presents, and immediately began building a new Lego Hero Factory toy.  He really enjoys building these; they are definitely one of his favorite toys right now.

We visited one of our favorite spots in town for a special breakfast.  That is cinnamon deliciousness, and he enjoyed it!

After a tennis lesson, a special lunch with Grandma, and a trip to the toy store, C was happy to have cake with family and open a few more presents.

Originally, C requested that I make him chocolate chip cookie dough cupcakes for his birthday, but when we went to buy the ingredients, he saw this cake and decided this is what he wanted.  (I FORGOT TO USE OUR HAPPY BIRTHDAY PLATE - pregnancy brain!)

As he opened presents from family members, he stopped and asked me to photograph every single thing he opened.  This became funny as he opened outfits and insisted that I photograph each item separately.  At one point I told him that the shorts I photographed a minute ago were almost the same as the pair he was now asking me to photograph, but he didn't care - I had to take pictures of everything!  That is a true sign of a child of a blogger!

Happy 7th Birthday C!  I hope you enjoyed every minute of your special day!

Happy, Happy Birthday C!! He looks so handsome in these pictures, Christy, and for some reason to me he looks so young--that's a good thing :-).

Very, very funny about all the pictures. I have some definite 'child bloggerness' going on here too--Joe did the same thing at his party back in May.

Good for you on his picking out the cake instead of making the cupcakes. I think I would have been secretly pleased.

It sounds like he had a happy, fun and yummy day! OH, I always forget to use our plate!!

Happy Birthday C! You have a 7 year old in the house now, too. Peanut turned 7 in April. They grow up way too fast.

How fun! Happy birthday C, Little J isn't too far behind you. I think they would be good buddies, I see some very familiar favorite toys in there:)
