Papa and Grandma M came over for dinner and to exchange gifts.
Then, reindeer food was made and spread on the lawn,
and cookies and milk were set out for Santa.
C and R were both so excited. R was asleep in minutes. C was trying to stay awake to see or hear Santa's sleigh. He asked me to leave his shade up a little; he also told me that he was going to keep his hands busy (by moving his fingers) because he read that Ben Franklin said that was a good way to stay awake! He didn't last long!
*I got a new camera and didn't realize that the flash was not on, so these pictures are kind of dark!!!

That is very funny about C moving his fingers like Ben Franklin to stay awake :-).
We did the reindeer food too, lots of fun.
YAY about your new camera!! That's exciting! What kind did you get? Have LOTS of fun with it!!
Looks like a great Christmas Eve! Love the picture of C putting out the cookies and R pouring the milk!
Every year I mean to do reindeer food, but I never follow through on it.
Looks like a great Christmas Eve!
Cute! Abby was so excited too, it took her awhile to get to sleep, but then she slept fine.
What time did they wake up?
Sounds like a great evening! My kids all fell asleep pretty quickly, too! I hope it stays that way - I remember staying up for hours on Christmas Eve!
We did the magic food too, but Anna didn't even bother to check it in the morning - she was too excited about her Christmas Day presents. Too funny about C's plans to stay awake!
