R made a Christmas House in school. I love this project, and the kids do too. It's so great that they can have a little Christmas in public school!

| This picture makes me smile for so many reasons. It was our first year in this house (we moved the week of Thanksgiving, so we had only been here a few weeks when this photo was taken) and we no longer have that wallpaper in the kitchen. Also, in the background on the refrigerator, you can see a drawing by C of our new house. |
I hope to have these as part of our Christmas decor for many years to come. They are my favorite decorations!

I love the house - what a great project for K level. Anna's school did quite a bit both for Hanukkah and Christmas. Apparently, the teacher thinks that playing dreidel is great for math skills, and they also wrote a letter to Santa each and got a reply. Santa also sent them an ice block - a big surprise for San Jose kids :)
That is a great project! Our school won't come anywhere near the word "Christmas" - we have a "holiday gift shop" and that's it.
I LOVE everything about this house!! She did an amazing job on it. Her picture and the Christmas tree are SO good! This is a wonderful idea and so fun.
These are definitely my favorite sort of decorations too, hands down.
